Tangentes Hom is more than an online retail experience - it is a Social Enterprise, providing an apartment for women from the age of 55.

In New Zealand, there are more women without housing than men. A growing population of older women from 55-65 are homeless, from disability, divorce, job loss and being locked out of the market, with insufficient funds to retire or maintain themselves.

Their journey is one of survival, marked by uncertainty and the constant search for temporary shelter.

We're not just identifying the problem—we're building the solution.

At Tangentes Hōm, we believe every woman deserves a home to live with dignity, security, and with time and space to plan for a new future.

With every purchase you make, 10% of your purchase goes into a dedicated trust fund.

We plan to build a community of purpose-built apartments where these women can finally call home. Each apartment will have a kitchen, bathroom, lounge area, bathroom and bedroom.

The central build will comprise a Business Centre, social and learning space, a quiet room for on-site counselling, and other activities.
